Who We Are: Bedford Alliance Church is a church of approximately 1,000 attendees each Sunday located in Temperance, MI. We are part of the Christian & Missionary Alliance (C&MA) denomination. Our mission as a church is to be everyday people living out our God-given calling as we invest in others to do the same.Job Overview: The Production Ministry of Bedford Alliance Church is the avenue through which BAC communicates its foundational beliefs and theology and helps congregants engage in worship and spiritual learning in a meaningful way. The ministry encompasses both in-person and online services, including sound, lighting, video and service environment. As the head of this ministry, the Media & Production Director is responsible for ensuring that all BAC services and events meet our standard of excellence both technically and experientially through the overall execution of services. The Media & Production Director also plays a vital role in creatively communicating the mission and message of BAC through high-quality video content. This individual will capture, produce, and deliver engaging videos for weekend services, special events, social media, and ministry needs. This individual works closely with the Worship Director, Communication Director, Graphic Designer, and Production Ministry volunteers. Job Type: Full-time, Salary, Exempt Classification: Ministerial Reports To: Pastor of Worship and TechnologyMinistry Requirements: Recruit, coach, and develop team members and leaders to ensure the Production Ministry’s success. Invest in ministry team members, both professionally and spiritually. Capture individual stories and testimonies through video, guiding individuals in articulating their experiences with sensitivity and compassion. Be willing to work outside of standard business hours. Ministry is not limited to a normal 9:00 - 5:00, and working outside of that schedule at times, including weekends and holidays for holiday services and other special events, will be required. Christmas and Easter services, as well as the week leading up to each of these holidays, are required work times. Media Responsibilities: Plan, film, edit, and deliver creative video content that supports worship services, promotional efforts, and church initiatives. This includes partnering with ministry leaders to understand video needs and to brainstorm creative ideas, as well as conceptualizing and producing compelling testimonial videos. Capture footage during live events and services, including baptisms, conferences, and community outreach activities. Edit video content and add motion graphics, audio mixing, and color correction to ensure high-quality output. Ensure timely delivery of video content for social media, website updates, and service use. Maintain and manage video equipment to ensure it functions at peak performance. Stay current with video trends and technologies, continually exploring ways to improve the quality and creativity of church media. Production Responsibilities: Ensure all technical aspects of the weekend services are planned and executed. Lead the Production team in setting up and executing services and special events. Ensure the technical success of all ministries including children, students, and adults. Oversee the implementation and installation of any set change or new equipment. Maintain all production equipment and repair as needed. Desired Proficiencies: Proficiency in operating professional video equipment, cameras, lighting, and audio gear Advanced video editing skills using software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, and/or Final Cut Pro, etc. Knowledge of motion graphics and animation using Adobe After Effects or similar tools Ability to craft compelling stories through video, with an eye for pacing, music selection, and emotional engagement Strong time management and problem-solving skills to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and adapt to changing priorities Communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with staff, volunteers, and attendees Willingness to learn; teachable spirit High school diploma or GED Related work experience, preferred Modeling Biblical Priorities: All ministry staff is expected to uphold Biblical priorities and core values of Bedford Alliance Church and should continuously be pursuing a deep personal relationship with Christ.
