Do you have a passion to see strategy and technology be leveraged for ministry? Do you love leading and helping teams improve their workflow? If so, you may be our new Rock RMS Director! This leader is a vital part of our team, responsible for ensuring Rock RMS and database technologies are maximized to help Sugar Creek Baptist Church achieve its mission. In this role, you will report to the Digital Strategies Team Leader and are responsible for strategically aligning Sugar Creek’s ministry strategies and our Rock RMS operations.

General Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with staff to develop the long-range plan of Rock RMS development and future versions.
  • Empower and train ministries with Rock RMS driven processes, events, and reporting.
  • Partner with Rock RMS Consultants, and Ministry Leadership to ensure ministry teams maximize their use of Rock RMS to better engage with members and the community.
  • Lead the Rock RMS Database team to complete needed tasks and projects.
  • Create, plan and manage Rock RMS annual budget.
  • Develop and lead a team of volunteers to assist with data integrity and general Rock RMS needs.
  • Manage policies and procedures related to data security and integrity.

Candidate Must-Have

  • 2+ years of experience working with Rock RMS in a mega-church setting
  • Bachelor’s Degree in relevant field of study such as Information Technologies, Computer Programming, Computer Science, etc.
  • Demonstrated competency in developing and mapping business processes.
  • Warm personality that is confident in building relationships and collaborating with others.
  • Excellent at leading others through influence first and authority second.
  • Can-do attitude that believes every glass is half full and an analytical problem-solver with an attention to details.
  • Strong time management skills and ability to lead multiple projects at the same time.

Candidate Nice-To-Have

  • Rock RMS power-user and committed to staying current with future Rock RMS development.
  • Active in the Rock RMS Community; completed Rock 101, 102, Rock SQL Class, and/or Masterclass
  • Experience serving in a multi-site church and supervising employees.
  • Experience working with SQL databases, writing SQL queries and reports.
