Position Summary: The Web Designer will have the primary responsibility of collaborating with each ministry to set forth standards and best practices in communicating on our website and other communication mediums to help support the church’s mission of connecting people to God and to one another. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:• Maintain database information loading speeds and capacity • Debug pages and fix broken links or images • Monitor and analyze site performance (e.g. traffic, conversions) • Build communication templates and workflows • Generate reports based on activity Qualifications:• Self-motivated • Detail-oriented • Flexible and takes direction well • Excellent communication and teamwork skills • Strong troubleshooting and analytical abilities • Ability to monitor and maintain multiple projects simultaneously • Work quickly, but efficiently and effectively • Handle confidential matters with integrity and excellence •• Working knowledge ROCK Management System is a PLUS• Working knowledge in HTML/CSS, C#, .NET framework, XML, Bootstrap • Proficiency with MS SQL and knowledge databases • Knowledge of web analytics and Search Engine Optimization • Knowledge of email/SMS communications Education/Experience: Preferably a bachelor’s degree (B.S./B.A.) in Computer Science, IT or relevant field from four-year college or university, or one to two years related experience, and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience.
