The Digital Strategist is responsible for designing and implementing a cohesive digital strategy for people engagement, guest experience, data management, and organizational system/application requirements. Core Duties & ResponsibilitiesWebsite, Mobile App, Podcast, Rock RMS, Data Analytics & IT ApplicationsCollaborate with the Central Team to set clear priorities and goals for the Digital Team - balancing the long-term and immediate needsResponsible for strategic plans that set timelines for evaluation, development, and deployment of all web and mobile servicesManage vendor and digital partner relationshipsEnsure unified collaboration across departments to drive strategic initiatives between technology strategy and various technology road mapsCollaborate with leaders across teams to help build technology that serves people, internally and externally Lead in the development of digital analytics and reporting, including the production, communication and ongoing improvement of key performance dashboardsCreate and manage development processes for ministry digital projects to ensure high impactSupervise projects to ensure deadlines are met, and deliverables are on time with high quality resultsQualificationsBe a strategic thinker and an effective communicatorAbility to build and lead high-performance teamsAbility to present a digital vision confidently in a way that motivates both internal and external audiences.Ability to work in a team environment, interacting with other departments to obtain information needed to complete tasks.Ability to deal with change, delays and unexpected eventsProficiency in the English language is required (reading, writing and speaking)Education and Experience8+ years of experience successfully leading in the software technology industryA combination of education and experience may be acceptable
