I am working on creating some custom blocks but I am still learning Rock. Is there currently a block for adding a link to a video to embed to the site (without using the HTML editor). If not, any guidance on where to get started on creating a block to supply just the embed url (for if they want to embed a youtube video). Thanks in advance for the help and God bless.

  Are there any payment gateways that do not charge a monthly fee so I can use it only for registrations?   I am still using PCO giving for my giving platform still and it uses Stripe on the back end.  We are far too small of a church to pay the $500 to use stripe with Rock.    Any ideas for a simpler payment gateway?

I would like to be able to have the Check-in Windows app run in a window instead of full screen on our manned check-in station. How does Rock handle room balancing situations at child checkin? We're building new kids buildings that have multiple classrooms of different sizes for a grade. Hi, i'm using group viewer for our LIFEgroups.  When I set up the group I add the location in Group Attribute Values under Area.  I would like to have online and the link to the online chat in this box.  I can only type out the web address (which is super long) and can't insert a hyperlink instead.  Is there a way that I could add a hyperlink?  I can do it in communications and in here by the look of things, but not in group viewer that I can see.  Help

Just installed a fresh instance on external hosting.  The site comes up, I can log in, and start working with it.  I've updated it to the latest version, but it seems to stop running after a few minutes.  I have to Recycle IIS (8.5) in order to get it back up again.  If I log back in and start working again, it'll do it again in about the same amount of time.  Nothing in the log but I found an entry in App_Data\Logs that says it was a shutdown initiated by the hosting...

Getting runtime errors after updating from 10.1 to 10.2.  You get the "eureka" restart rock screen but when you restart Rock it is all runtime errors from there. Restored backup and stopped at 10.1 this time until we have a plan on how to get past this.Does anyone know where I should look to try to fix this?We are running two VMs on Azure (web and sql)

Has anyone done a fix to make Attended Check-in auto-assign the child to a class/location like the stock checkin service does? My instance keeps sending everyone to the nursery. I can manually edit it, but I would rather it read the ability/age/grade inherit preferences of the configuration. Also, when manually selecting the class to go to, has anyone changed to page to show the group rather than the location of the group?
