Changes to Membership Not Showing in Weekly Attendance

I attend a small church (+120) and we use Rock RMS for weekly check-in for Children's Ministry and tracking important member and attender dates.  We do not use the check-in app for adult attendees but do check them off in Group Viewer.  Two problems have arisen recently.  

1.  16-week attendance tracking is not working with this
2.  Due to multiple multiple attempts to troubleshoot this issue, adds/deletes/edits to members and attenders no longer show up in the attendance for Group Viewer

No developers or SQL admins in the church.  Just a Windows/Linux/Cisco hardware guy (me) trying to keep the wonderful church secretary happy.  Any help is muchly appreciated!

    The group that you are marking adult attendance in needs to be of a group type which:

    1) has "Takes Attendance" marked

    2) has "weekend service" marked.

    Please verify which group type your adult group is, then check those two configurations on the group type definition


    I'm not sure what your item #2 is referring to, could you possibly upload a screen shot and show what's missing?
