0 Complete Delete and Reinstall of ROCK 2 Keith Bell posted 9 Years Ago I want to just start over with our install. How do I delete everything associated with 1.0 and install a fresh of 2.0? I have just deleted SQL Server and all associated things with it. Trying to get ROCK deleted so I can start over. Easy way of doing this?
Rock RMS 9 years ago Trey is right on. Might also recommend always downloading the latest Start.aspx file from the Rock site.
Michael Garrison 9 years ago Depends on whether that's where you put the Start.aspx file the first time you installed Rock or not. If you follow the instructions I think it has you set up a new site - in that case it's probably not the wwwroot folder. The Rock folder has folders like "App_Browsers", "App_Code", "App_Data", "Bin", "SqlServerTypes" and a favicon.ico that looks like the Rock logo. If your wwwroot only has 7 or 8 items with files like "iisstart.htm", that's not Rock. But the authoritative way to tell is to launch IIS. In the Treeview, expand your server, and expand the "Sites" folder. If there's a site that obviously Rock, separate from "Default Web Site", click that entry. Then in the far right pane, click the "Basic Settings" link. The "Physical Path" listed there is the Rock folder. If you only have a "Default Web Site", check the same setting but it probably IS the wwwroot in that case.
