Bought the check scanner and started playing.... now how do I delete my playground?

I had played around with financials and could delete the batches with no problem.  Now that I have scanned the check / tithe envelopes and tied them to accounts I can no longer delete the batch.  Anyone know a way I can delete these before I go live with recording financials?

    It's tough- we had a faulty batch a while ago and it gets much more difficult when you're talking about something that was scanned in.

    If I remember correctly, you need to delete each scanned image individually- you can't delete transactions tied to a scan. Then you can delete each transaction individually. Finally when the batch is empty you can delete the batch.

    Might have missed a step in there but I think that's what it took.

      I was able to take out all of the ones that were not scanned so we are only talking about two credit cards, two checks, and 6 cash entries. Where do the scanned images go? Where do I delete them? What about the credit card transactions?

        I don't have any open batches right now so I'm not positive. I haven't been a part of deleting CC transactions- did you download those or just put them in manually? I think the checks might have needed to be deleted (maybe "unlinked" is a more accurate description, I'm not sure of the mechanics) from the transaction itself ...? Sorry my memory and knowledge isn't more clear

          So the way to delete is to go to the edit page of the transaction and then you can delete the image. Once the image is deleted then you can go back and delete the corresponding transaction and finally the entire batch.

            Yeah, Robbie, that's the workaround for now. We're opening an issue on that and will get it fixed for an upcoming release.
