Checkin issue in birthday week

Just ran into a new issue checking in my own kids this morning. We have a 7-year old girl and our son will be 5 years old on Wednesday (May 6th).

Last night, we checked them into into their classes (grades 2-5 and the 4-year old class respectively) just fine. But this morning when we select our family, it automatically checks in my daughter...no options for my son.

I have verified on the schedule that the 4-year olds should check into room 110 for the 8:30 service, and verified on the checkinmanager that room 110 is open (other 4 year olds have sucessfully checked in this morning). My only thought was that since his birthday is so close there was some kind of a rounding error where he doesn't qualify for kindergarden yet but Rock thinks he's too old for the 4 year old class. Or something. So I changed the 4-year old class requirements from "age range 4.0 to 4.99" by increasing the upper limit to 4.999. Saved that, verified it saved, and tried checking in again- only to check in my daughter automatically again.

I can't figure out what else to check- any ideas?

    Michael,

Did you ever figure this out, or continue to see it?

    Where has commenting gone?

I never got to the bottom of it, and he was just able to check in as normal the next week.checkinConfig.jpg

Here's a screenshot of our configuration- I can't see any reason he couldn't check in that week.

Have you had this issue come up again?  We are getting ready to launch our child check-in in the next few weeks and I want to try to head off any problems that might come up.  I've also set our system up like your example above (3-3.99999).  Thanks!

No, I think that in general the consensus is using at least "four nines" after the decimal point is good, (I hadn't used enough). So you shouldn't have any issues with the setup you list.
