Scanned check transaction matching is no longer auto-completing based on bank account number

Having upgraded to 3.5, 4.0 and 4.1 in turn, and having installed the new check scanner external application, our accountant informs me that when using "Match Transactions" on a batch of scanned checks, it is no longer auto-filling in the appropriate people based on the account number. I verified that the bank numbers are still listed on the "contributions" profile tab, which the documentation indicates is all that's required.

What may have gotten lost in the upgrade(s) that might have caused this? The only thing in the release notes that I see is, "Fixed issue with transaction matching when masked account number was blank" (I'm not even sure what that means)

    Hey Michael, did you ever figure this out? I'm a little nervous about upgrading if it will cause issues for our recording team.

    I had to ask our accounting team- they hadn't let me know how this week went. Apparently they'd forgotten to specifically note whether it worked this week. Since they'd definitely noticed if it didn't auto-complete the people again, they said that it must have been auto-completing like it used to again. I'd like to touch base with them one more week and then I'll just write this off as a one-time fluke/bug. Haven't heard of anyone else having this trouble.

    It seems this was some kind of odd one-time glitch- this is the second week now in which the check matching went back to auto-completing the people as it always has.
