What are you installing on? Windows os version, How much memory, What cpu, how much disk space etc

I am installing on 'winhost basic plan' for starters.
It is running Windows 2012 with IIS 8.0, 3gb disk space, 100MB memory allocation, SQL 2014 with 500mb sql space, ASP.Net 4.5+.

I plan to increase the hosting plan as we progress.  Initially just trying to test the waters with Rock since we are small and only starting in church management software arena.

Can you try again and see if maybe it was just a temporary issue? If it doesn't work can you take a screenshot of the installer screen?

I'm thinking you might just have too few memory resources (not to mention the tiny disk space). I don't know what kind of space Rock uses when installing/decompressing, but it's probably more than the 300MB footprint that's left when it's done. It's tempting to treat Rock like a WordPress install, but it's an Enterprise-class .NET/SQL Server application that does need some resources to run at all, and a lot to run well. That's just my guess, though, since I don't have a lot of experience with hosting Rock and its bare minimums.

I have tried it several times but get the same issue repeatedly. Attached is the screenshots. Should I approach winhost for a solution?Screen Shot 2016-03-07 at 13.14.51.pngScreen Shot 2016-03-07 at 13.20.09.png

How long are you waiting before you kill it? Sometimes it can take a few minutes to finish installing depending on several things including not being able to fully download the files from the rock cdn host.

I had the same idea, so left it overnight with no effect... still stuck on the same screen.

Pretty sure that's the installer running out of memory. Rock is only supported on the Winhost Ultimate package. The Basic plan only has 100MB of RAM.

Same problem with Winhost Ultimate... Was anybody able to solve this problem? Thanks!
