it is very confusing how to add different levels of security, how do I do this?

Can't figure out what is going on whne trying to set up different levels of securty.  I think I set something up but dont know exactly?

    Hi Keith-

    Yeah, security can definitely be confusing, especially on a brand new system you're not familiar with. The first thing I would ask is if you've read (and "absorbed") the excellent documentation for Rock found here? https://www.rockrms.com/Rock/Learn While it's all definitely worth reading, the Admin Hero Guide is a must and has a section on the basics of Rock security. Beyond that, "different levels of security" is a pretty broad topic, so you'll probably need to get more specific with your question on what exactly you're trying to do and where exactly you're getting stuck. Out of the box Rock ships with security roles (what you call "different levels of security") for Rock Administrators, Staff, Communication Administrators, Finance Administrators, etc. You can see the default roles in Rock under Admin Tools | Security Roles.
