College Grade Labels

Is it possible to add negative values for the grade label in Rock? We have a college age ministry that could use the theoretical college class of students.

I've been able to add negative values, but Rock seems to ignore the label.

    Hi Garrett,

    Like Aaron, I'm curious why you want to use negative values.  Seems like you may want grades like 13th, 14th, and 15th, and so on.  

    As an alternative option, you could setup either Groups or Tags with "Undergrad" and "Masters" and "Doctorate" which works for reporting, but admittedly you would lose the auto-increment feature of Grade.

    The ability to have a named grade would be helpful for how we run our college ministry, while still maintaining the significance of a high school graduation year in the database. Effectively we would be using the negative grades for the label on the profile view and elsewhere in Rock.

     

    If we added more grades the stored graduation year would be pushed back for every year we added, which would make the stored graduation year meaningless.
