Can the Title in a Person's Name be shown on-screen?

Names without Titles.PNG

Our community still use very traditional naming convention for married couples, i.e. Mr & Mrs XXX.  Is there a way to configure Rock so that the Name Title shows up on screen?  Otherwise it can be confusing as to which row is who when only the name is displayed.

In the above example, can the name be configured to display as "Lee, Hock Hin (Mr)" for the second row and as "Lee, Hock Hin (Mrs)" for the third row?

This updated convention should be used anywhere/everywhere Person Name is shown.

Suggestion:

Have the ability to define Name Formats similar to the available Address Format.  We will then need a new Person field to choose which Name format to use for each person

As you've discovered Rock cannot currently do this. The official place to make enhancement requests is https://www.rockrms.com/Rock/Ideas so definitely put this in the system if you haven't already. I have no idea how many people records you are dealing with, but I don't suppose it's a useable workaround to just add the Mr or Mrs directly to the person's first name

I can easily add the Title after the person's first name as I am still testing the Data Import using Excavator with CSV file. The CSV file is "exported" from an Excel file. But this will cause other problems where I want to use the name without the Title. I could just append ONLY for names with the title (Mrs)

I have tried apppending/putting the (Mrs) into the First Name, Nick Name or Suffix. And I find putting the (Mrs) in the suffix is the best in terms of unwanted side-effects. But this Name Suffix does not show up in the drop down list during Name Search. Is there a way to turn this ON? I think the Name Suffix should be shown during the Name Search to differentiate GrandFather, Father, Son, etc
