How long are emails saved on Rock?

Can anyone tell me how long a sent email will stay in the Communication History on Rock?

Emails are saved forever, so they can be part of a person's history. I suppose at some point it will make sense to have a routine to clean up emails > 15yrs or something (and you could always do it with SQL if you had to), but that doesn't exist in Rock today.
