How to create a field with drop down list of pastors?

Is it possible to create a field that will show as its drop-down choices the list of pastors?

I will be creating/adding new fields whose valid choices are the list of pastors, e.g. fields like, (a) baptised by (b) received by (c) transfer recorded by (d) etc.

Ideally this list is a group to which I can add all the pastors who have served in our church (they are part of the people in Rock), and new pastors as they are appointed.  For example, if there is a choice for "Group member" in the list of Field Types in the Person Attribute configuration.

I don't know how to populate an attribute with a list of people from a group, but a different way you could solve this would be to use a Defined Type (under Admin | General Settings | Defined Types. You could add a new "Pastors" Defined Type and then make each Pastor a defined value. Then create your attributes of type Defined Value and choose your "Pastors" Defined Type as the source. Now you will get a list of all of your pastors to choose from in the attribute... you can also allow multiples to be selected if you want.

Not quite the same as using a group, but you're just editing a defined type when adding a pastor vs. a group so not really more work.
