Limiting checkin

Is there a way to prevent people from checking in over and over again? Our middle school kids like to keep checking in and getting more and more name tags. Wondering if we can limit and say "already checked in" - thoughts?

Not that I'm aware of, but if such a limitation were added it would need to be selectable (perhaps on an area basis) because there is no "reprint" functionality in Rock checkin so the only way to get a new label due to a bad print or jam or whatever is to re-check-in

I would love to make is universal and have reprints happen from the admin override screen. I feel like that's the most secure option. :-)

I would agree with you DJ on this. We do not allow anyone with out a tag to go into our children's area. With the current design someone could easily guess a phone number of someone not checked in and just reprint their label and get access.

For what it's worth, I agree, too... was just stating the current reality. In any case, someone needs to enter an enhancement request as talking about it here (while valuable to us) does not put in on the core devs radar.

Remember, the best "ideas" are fleshed out, communicated with the core team, entered as an enhancement [EN] issue, and then submitted as a pull request once you've written the code. ;) All other ideas just go into the black book: http://www.rockrms.com/Rock/Ideas
