Bad addresses

I can delete a person's address, but I lose the history on the profile screen. I see it in the person's history tab. When a family moves, all previous addresses show on the profile screen. Is there a way to make this happen, but have a blank current address?

We get mail returned, and need to delete the current address, but do not know the new one.

    Just edit the current address and change Type to Previous, un-check "Mailing" and save it. As long as your dataviews/reports that your mailings come from are filtering on "Is Mailing" those addresses won't be sent to.

    I don't see any address related changes in person history. Is there a setting that I missed? Sometimes we need to see who made the change and when.
