Accessing Rock from other computers

Hello! I have just finished the install and am logged into Rock as the Admin User. My question is: How do I access our rock account from another computer. Where can I find the URL to give to my fellow staff members to be able to set up their accounts? I've tried the 'Internal Application Root URL' and it keeps giving me an error message on my mac. 


Thanks!! Excited to get this up and running for our church and staff!

    Hi Nicholas,

    You should be able to see the URL under Internal Application Root in Home > General Settings > Global Attributes. Remember that the other computer you are trying to access Rock from should be on the same local network. You will also need a DNS server to translate the URL to the server's IP or modify the hosts file on each computer.

    Hi Nicholas,

    A short-term, simple solution is to use the following url:     http://192.168.1.201    where 192.168.1.201 is the IP address of your Server/PC.

    You might need help from your network administrator to setup the DNS server and the entry for Rock as per Niyi's answer.

      Sorry, I just re-read your question, and you are asking for the url to create new login accounts. The above answer was the url to login after creating the user accounts. That was the URL for Rock's internal website.


      The url to create new accounts is as follows
      http://192.168.1.201/page/1
      where 192.168.1.201 is the IP address of your Rock Server/PC


      This is the URL for Rock's external website. Click on the Login item on the top bar, then the Register button.
