Running Rock Solo

I would like to know if there are any other Organizations using RockRMS for small ~100 member church.

I am the sole developer/designer/admin etc... I can devote maybe 5-10 hours a day on Adding features. Currently I have it set up as a CMS, but if all I wanted was a CMS I would have went with one of numerous other CMS products. I want to use RockRMS to help my pastor and his one assistant to automate more of their lives and handle group communications. Is Rock suited for such a small organization with me trying to admin it given the limited time I can devote to it?

Rock is definitely suited for small orgs such as yours. The major stumbling block in smaller orgs is often getting Rock *hosted*, because there is often less expertise in this area, while at the same time there are not sufficient funds to just pay a Rock Partner to do the heavy lifting. If you want/need free hosting, I suggest you start with this recipe https://community.rockrms.com/recipes/96/free-tier-aws-hosting-for-rockrms

That said, using Rock seems totally within your grasp given the time you can apply to it. I would note that with Rock's workflow engine and its use of Lava for markup, you can do a TON of "customization" without actually writing any code. Rock is pretty much unique in this regard among ChMS products. Finally, if you're not already involved in the Chat community, you should do so. That is a great place to ask questions real time and share ideas/lava/workflows. https://chat.rockrms.com
