Duplicate family (looks like split fam) showing on single person family

One person with two families listed on record - as a split family would look but with only one person in both families. How do I eliminate one of the families. Only one family is necessary for this person.

    A family is considered a Group in Rock. You'll have to find the group that you don't want and archive it. I suggest removing the person from that family group before doing so. 

    You can edit the group by:

    1. Hovering over the edit (pencil icon) on the person record family bar to the right and noting the group Id
    2. Navigating to the Group Viewer page and then editing the URL by putting in the noted group Id from the person profile page to see the Family Group. Otherwise you'd have to show the Family Group Types in the Group Viewer (which can be a mess and crash that page due to the sheer number of them).
    3. Do this for both group Ids to see which group you want to remove members from and then archive the (family) group in question.
    4. Go back to the person record and validate that only one Family shows.
