Excel export of reports includes additional columns

If I have a report that includes "Age" as a column then if I use "Export to Excel" to download it, the excel sheet includes an additional "date of birth" column. Is there a way to prevent this. The reason is, want a report to be available for select members to download but don't want Birth date to be included in it.

    I don't believe there's a way to prevent this except possibly building your own reports. The Excel export function is designed to include columns that aren't visible on the web version, including columns that are only used for calculation.

    For instance, in this case a person's age isn't actually stored in the database, only their Birthdate. So Rock needs the birthdate to calculate their age. This may be why the birthdate is showing in your export (though I may just as easily be mistaken about this being the reason).
