Importing data from Power Church

We have not downloaded Rock yet, but I have been asked if there is a way to import our current information (currently in Power Church)easily into Rock. Or, if it will have to be done by hand. Thanks in advance!

    There is currently no turn-key way to import data into Rock. Some here are trying to leverage the same import mechanism that Rock itself uses to import the sample data (by pointing rock at a properly-formatted XML file containing their existing data instead of at the the rockrms web site), but I'm not aware if anyone has been successful with that, yet.  There is also a new announcement on the Connect page here that talks about a new tool (also in beta) being developed to import data, but it currently only works with Fellowship 1 data. 

    Rock is still early beta and we can all hope that import tools and mechanisms start to appear quickly.
