As I enter the individual transactions for a batch, the "+" button to add a new transaction requires more scrolling as more transactions are added.  Is there a shortcut key for this, or a way to move it to the top of the list?

    Currently there is not a shortcut key for adding new transactions, however this is being added in verion 3.0 along several other new keyboard shortcuts.  (see this answer for more details).
