I would like to add some additional topics for our small groups, but I cannot find where the "Group Attribute Values".  Can someone point me in the right direction?

Thanks!

    Hi Don,

I think you can do what you are asking as follows:

    1. Navigate to "Home/General Settings/Group Types/Small Group".
    2. In the Group Attributes category, edit the "Topic" attribute and select the checkbox for "Allow Multiple Values".
    3. Save your changes.

You should now be able to select more than one topic for a Small Group.

David, thank you for your response. This is very weird. I was able to change the Topic to multi-selection, which is great; however, once I did that the Group Search tool on our website changed from multi-selection to a single selection dropdown. So, I am back to the same problem. Members cant search on more that one topic. Is this a bug, or do I need to make additional changes?
When I changed the Topic back to single selection, then the group search tool went back to multi-selection.

      I see what you mean.
I think the Filter Editor for Multi-Value fields might need to be modified to support this.
As it stands, the "Contains" and "Does not Contain" options do not work well here, because (unlike a Data View) you can't specify multiple filter conditions in the Group Finder.
Looks like you might need to add this suggestion to the little black book...

You're welcome! We'll be rolling out the Group Finder for our church in the coming months, so I was interested to see how it works too.

    Hey Don,

You can add topics under General Settings -> Defined Types -> Small Group Topics

Thank you Frank! Is there a way to add more than one topic to a small group? What is I have a walking group for just women? In this case, I would like to be able to select the following topics, "Health/Fitness", "Women". So that people can find groups specific to their gender as well as their interests. Is this possible?

Hey Don, try changing your defined type to a multi-select as opposed to a single select.

Arran, I don't see an option to change anything like that. I went to General Settings -> Defined Types -> Small Group Topics. Is that where you are talking about?
