Adding links in site nav

Is it possible to add links to documents and other external sites/files in the nav menus? Right now I can only access those menus by adding new Rock pages. Thanks!

    You can edit the menu by editing the .lava files for your theme. For example if you are using the Flat theme it would be in Themes\Flat\Assets\Lava the files you are looking for are

    1. PageNav.lava
    2. PageSubNav.lava

    PageNav.lava being the main menu. PageSub.lava is generally the sidebar menu.

    This seems an overly complex way to add a link, is this still the only way to achieve this?
