We are working towards online giving and I think that everything looks good on the Rock side.  We created a one-time gift and the batch job successfully picked it up last night.  I'm a little fuzzy on what we should expect on the PayPal side while in Test mode.  Should we be seeing anything on PayPal Manager?

Also, if anyone has recently gone through this process and has any best practices to share, I would appreciate it.

    Went ahead and flipped everything to Live and magic happened last night with our first online donation. Pretty cool stuff. One specific question that I still have on the process is how the money is transferred to our bank account. Is there anything happening on the Rock side that initiates that, or is that something that we do directly from PayPal?

      Joe,

      You might have already figured this out. . . . but for the benefit of others wondering the same thing:  in our experience the Payflow Gateway auto-deposits money into our bank account n-days after the transactions settle.  Generally, it's next day for credit cards, and around 7 business days for ACH.  I say generally, because transactions on weekends settle differently and occasionally (rarely) an item or two seems to 'just miss' the deadline for settlement and takes an extra business day.  

      Rock has a job titled "Rock.Jobs.getscheduledpayments" that should be setup to run overnight so that your Rock downloads the batches for your finance department to reconcile.
