<p>Nick, Rock will only run on a windows based server which Domains.com does appear to offer. The thing to keep in mind is that their prices are so low because you will be sharing the servers resources with many other web applications. They don't appear to offer a VPN for windows.&nbsp;</p><p>Before moving forward you will want to make sure Domains.com does meet the ASP.net 4.5.1 and SQL 2012 requirements found in <a href="http://www.rockrms.com/Rock/BookContent/3/88#baserequirements">the manual</a>.</p><p>This <i><u>might</u></i> be a good place to do early testing and playing cheep, but I am pretty sure everyone in the community using Rock would encourage you to invest the extra money to <i>go with another hosting provider</i> if you plan to use Rock for your ministry.&nbsp;</p><p>I don't know of anyone using Domains.com so you might be out on your own with getting it setup. My ministry is hosting with 3Essential and we are more then happy with them. I believe several other ministries are moving to Azure because Microsoft offers <a href="https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/philanthropies/product-donations/products/azure">$5000/year in free credit </a>but it sounds like you this option is only good for churches with a pretty knowledgeable IT team.&nbsp;</p><p>Welcome to the Rock Community!&nbsp;</p>
