How to Transform Your Outreach with the New Connections in v19 Published Jun 11, 2026 Connections is one of the most utilized and irreplaceable features in Rock. It is an essential ministry feature, and the Rock team has crafted a couple more exciting, ministry-equipping features. Clear the Clutter with the Redesigned Connections List View The List View is the most significant Connections change. Your requests will be organized in a list, featuring more relevant details and robust filtering, sorting, and grouping options—all while reducing overwhelm. Clicking on any Request will display its detail, including new features AI Summary (you must have an AI Provider set up) Celebrations Quick actions for sending communications (Email and SMS) Reminders And a whole lot more Read this documentation for more on the List View. Make Every Connection Count with Operational Snapshot The Operational Snapshot turns the rich data you get from working with Connections into organized, actionable info. See how your Connectors are faring, and check if anyone has the infamous Scarlet Letter (that little red line to the left of a connector). This alert is meant to inform leaders when connectors have missed the due date to Complete a connection, ensuring a more empathetic response for requesters who expect prompt engagement. Read this documentation for more on the Operational Snapshot. UI Changes: Navigate with Ease We know design is important, and good design can make a product more usable and understandable. The Connections navigation blocks have been updated to fit Rockʼs latest theming. Each screen is more usable and easier to navigate than ever. Calling the Foul Rock is an ever-changing product, and our team does its best to make sure every little thing is thought out. That means sometimes we change our minds on which features provide the most value to your organization. See the Product Grooming article for more on this. We want to be clear when things change, so allow us a second to point out Connections features that appear differently than they did before. "Connected" is now "Complete": This terminology change is reflected throughout the entire UI, including the action buttons. The "Complete" Button: This button can no longer be hidden for a Connections Opportunity; it will now appear wherever it is relevant. Grid View: The view formerly known as "List View" has been renamed to Grid View to better describe its function. Retired Statuses: Due to new due date logic, Critical Status and Idle Status have been removed from settings and the UI. Group Placement Toggle: Previously, group placement was always on. You can now disable this at the Connection Type level if you don't want completed connections to automatically join a group. Future PlansConnections look very different now, but there is more to come. The Connections Board View is going to be polished in a major version coming soon!
