Many organizations receive gifts through third party donors but want also want to track who the gift originated with. This could be an employee doing a matching program, giving through a foundation, or more. 

It would be awesome of Rock built out the gift entry for business a little more to allow for soft credits. Then added the ability for individuals to see their 3rd party giving (on the giving history page), and for the receiving organization to run reports on these gifts against the originating person so they can still send thank you e-mails/letters.
