0 Check-in lable orientation 2 DJ Grick posted 10 Years Ago I am working on setting up check-in to print but am running into an orientation issue. The labels are printing as if the labels feed landscaped but they actually feed portrait. The printer is a LP 2824 Plus and I am printing over the network using 2"x3" labels. I tried adjusting the printer preferences on the computer but the labels did not turn. Then I logged into the print server settings but the only orientation change available there is to flip 180`. As I was reading some articles on Zebra's website it seems that applications override computer settings. There was also reference to using the ^FW code to change orientation but I played with the one label and was unable to get this to happen. Has anyone gotten this to work? What am I missing?
DJ Grick 9 years ago I was not with those printers. Eventually we switched to the GX...(i don't have the rest of the model number in front of me) and they worked great.
DJ Grick 10 years ago Jeremy, I am printing from the print server.I have chanced the setting on the printing defaults. The printer only appears to has the option of changing the orientation 180` which won't solve much. But I might be looking at it wrong.
DJ Grick 10 years ago I have messed with setting several other times trying to get this to work but have been unable to. I am using the printers built in print server so I assume it would just be considered a network printer according to the manual.I have logged into the printer via it's IP address but have been unable to find any place in the settings to change the orientation of the label.I am assuming the setting needs to be changed either on the printer itself or from Rock but could be wrong. The manual says that the LP 2824 Plus was tested( https://www.rockrms.com/Rock/BookContent/10#printers ) but I am now also wondering what label size was used.
