Download and Install Rock

How do I download and install Rock? Every time I click download and upzip the file its just to small files that are just word documents. I think I am completely missing something?

    Michael, 

    Where are you trying to install Rock? Rock was designed to be installed on a windows server and is not really well suited to be installed on a PC. If you are trying to install on a server you could check out these two manuals for detailed help:

    Rock Solid External Hosting

    Rock Solid Internal Hosting 


    As far as the files you see. In the downloaded folder you should see 2 files:

    Start.ASPX
    Readme.Txt

    You're probably trying to download from Github, which is the source code for Rock not the "runnable" version.  Try this instead: https://www.rockrms.com/Rock/GetStarted
