List of people within a Geo Fence

I want to create a list of people who live within a specific geo-fenced area. I created a dataview, chose Applies to person with the filer distance and then drew my fence setting distance to 0 (and tried .1). Unfortunately I returned 0 results when it should have had half of our database.

Is there another way to do this? 

Could I have done something wrong?

Is this a bug I should report?

    This is a feature that will be implemented in the upcoming 4.0 release of Rock.  You'll be abe to draw an area within an existing group and them create a dataview with a Filter Type of 'In Group Geofence' and then specify the group with the fence you want.  I've created an example of this on the alpha site located here: http://alpha.rockrms.com/page/145?DataViewId=8&ExpandedIds=C131

    Looking at this now using the distance filter with a geofence doesn't work on the current develop branch. Have you figured out a way of handling that?
    There are new group geofence's (that I haven't used) could potentially be used for the same function?
