Want to track documents for a person or group? The Entity Documents feature lets you add documents just about anywhere in Rock. You can even add multiple documents of the same type to the same entity, quickly and easily. An entity document is a file saved right on a record in Rock, like a person or a group. Each document belongs to a document type, which sets the kind of record it goes on, the file type it uses and how many one record can hold. Because the file lives on the record, staff find it right where they're already working. People are ready to go out of the box. Rock ships with the General Person Document and Giving Statement document types, and every person's profile has a Documents tab. See Documents Tab for an example. Other kinds of records need a little setup, which the following articles walk through in order: Configure Entity Documents - Create the document types you'll use.Add the Block - Add a Documents block to a page so other records, like groups, can hold documents.Manage Entity Documents - Add, filter, download and delete documents on a record.Add Documents Using Workflows - Add documents automatically with the Entity Document Add workflow action.
