    Transaction Fee Report

The Transaction Fee Report lets the finance team track account gifts and the "covered" fees associated with the gift. The Transaction Fee Report breaks down the Total Fees, Credit Card Fees and ACH Fees, showing total transactions and the fees associated with each transaction. You can set specific time frames to see what each giving period brings. This report will help gain insight into all the fees associated with gift transactions.

A covered fee is the extra amount a giver chooses to add to their gift to help pay the processing fee. Givers get this option when Enable Fee Coverage is turned on for the Transaction Entry block or the mobile Giving block and your financial gateway supports fee coverage. Rock estimates the amount from the gateway's fee coverage settings: a percentage for credit cards and a flat amount for ACH. The report only includes gifts where the giver covered the fee, and it totals what givers added, not what your gateway actually charged.

    1. Account - Filter the report to one or more accounts, such as General Fund or Building Fund. Leave it blank to include all accounts.
    2. Date Range - Filter the report to gifts made during this time frame. It defaults to the last three months. Select Apply after changing either filter.
    3. Total Fees - The covered fees on all matching credit card and ACH gifts, with the number of transactions that included them.
    4. Credit Card Fees - The covered fees on credit card gifts only, with their transaction count.
    5. ACH Fees - The covered fees on ACH (bank account) gifts only, with their transaction count.
