Email Analytics

The Email Analytics report shows how your emails perform over time. It gathers data across all sent messages and displays charts for opens, clicks and client usage.

Navigate to People > Communication Reports > Email Analytics to access the report.

Right off the bat you’ll see charts and summary numbers showing how your messages perform over the selected time period. Choose from:

  • One Month
  • Three Months
  • Six Months

These options help you compare performance trends over different time ranges.

Review Email Client Usage

Scroll down to the Clients section to see what platforms your recipients use to open emails—like Outlook, Gmail and iOS Mail.

If you’re using Mailgun or another integrated provider, the report identifies each email client. This helps you optimize your designs, since appearance can vary by client.

Use the Email Builder to ensure consistent styling across clients and save setup time.

View the top links clicked in your messages, including counts and percentages. These values reflect unique clicks, giving you insight into which calls to action are most effective.

Note

This report only counts one click per recipient. If someone clicks the same link multiple times, it’s recorded once.

Warning

Analytics only reflect data reported by your email transport (e.g., Mailgun). If your numbers seem low, or any are missing, chances are your Transport isn't tracking these numbers.
