The Tithing Overview Report allows Rock Finance Teams (or your organization's leadership team) to see how their campuses are performing with overall estimated tithing. The estimations on this report could be used to foster discussions on how and when to encourage giving within your organization. Tithing Households (%) represents the percentage of giving households estimated to be tithing. A "giving household" is defined as one that has contributed to a tax-deductible account within the past 365 days. This report leverages US Census, location information, and average income figures to estimate potential tithe amounts, referred to as the "Tithe Index". For example, if the average household income for all 'givers' at a particular campus is $100,000, the Tithe Index would be $10,000, suggesting each person at that campus might tithe approximately $192 per week. Since average household income varies by postal code, the Tithe Index will differ across campuses, reflecting local economic conditions. Rock comes populated with a schedule that runs once a week to calculate tithing metric data (you can adapt this schedule to meet your organization's needs if necessary). If needed, you can access this by going to Admin Tools > Settings > Schedules > Tithing Overview. The calculated data is stored into three separate metrics under Tools > Metrics > Tithing Overview. There are two views within this report, the Bar Graph View and Line Graph View. Bar Graph View: Displays the most recent set of data with each bar color coded based on the age (Opened Date) of the campus.Line Graph View: Will display a rolling 12 month set of data for each campus, with each line color coded based on the Color of the campus. TipOpened Date and ColorThe campus Opened Date and Color can be set by going to Admin Tools > Settings > Campuses. View DisplayUsed to switch between the two view modes. The bar graph shows the estimated percentage of tithing households for each campus using only the most recent set of data. So this represents the live view for each campus.AverageThis is the average percentage of estimated tithing households across all campuses.Campus MetricsWhen you roll over each campus you will be able to see the individual campus metrics popup:Tithe Index is the estimated possible tithe amount based on location and family median income estimates of givers. The age of the campus allows you to draw conclusions on how the long a campus has been around and how many Tithing Households are at this campus.Giving Households shows how many households at this campus gave within the rolling year. This is not tied to a dollar amount or regular giving patterns at your campus.Tithing Households displays the total number of families who gave at or above the estimated Tithe Index; and the percentage based on all giving households. Campus AgeThe color coding is tied to the age of the campus. The assumption would be the older the campus, the higher the tithing households would be. View Display - Used to switch between the two view modes. The line graph view allows you to see a rolling month over month view of the tithes that come in for that specified month.Tithing Percentages - This is the percentage of estimated tithing households for that particular period.Campus Display - The color coding is specific to the campus.
